Okay, so I sort of made it clear in my journal that I haven't done much but doodles lately. This isn't one of my recent works, but it certainly did start out as mindless doodling. I wasn't even looking at the paper, when I realized I had come up with what appeared to be a nose. The dragon and phoenix are the result.
The phoenix is not so flamboyant as the traditional Asian phoenix, and I have since changed my depiction of the imperial Chinese dragon... but I am content with this.
The two people were added later to be a center point of attention. Their story is a long and sordid affair that I will not disclose.

I really love the sketchiness of it. Even though the dragon and phoenix are not what you had originally expected them to be, they still came out beautifully. ^^
